copy of "game.ini", then open it in a text editor like notepad and if
you scroll a few line you should see somrthing like this:

Tips and Tricks:

Crazy Larry's Leprechaun Shop:
------------------------------
He is first located in the Spooky Forest near some bats and a bridge.
He is standing on a stump on a tree.

The second time, he is located in the Walking The Path level. He is
around the bridge where you meet the troll and save the goat. He is on
the little piece of land when you jump off the bridge. You may need to
use a high jumper to get to the other side.

The last time you will see him is in the Prison Break level, where
there is a troll and one of the Pork Chop Brothers is trapped in the
cage. Take the ball, roll it up the hill, put it on the weigher, then
roll the ball back down hill. It will bust open the gate. Then, go up
the stairs to find him.

Saving Magic Beans in Far Far Away:
-----------------------------------
When you are in the Far Far Away level, you do not need the Magic
Beans to finish all the tasks. Go to a mission that you have already
completed. Go all the way down and choose to go to the next level.
Note: You do not need all the Magic Beans.

Mission with transformed people into rats:
------------------------------------------
When you do the mission where the people are turned into three rats, use Lil'
Red to shoot regular apples at the traps. Also, use her when you have to shoot
long distances over water.

Defeating Rats:
---------------
When fighting rats the characters to use are Fiona with her spin attack, Little
Red with her spin attack, or with Gingerbread Man with the candy cane that hits
all the enemies within range.

Blackbird Sympathy mission:
---------------------------
When doing the Blackbird Sympathy mission, all the birds do not have to be there.
However after you miss so many buttons, you will fail.

Cinderella mission:
-------------------
When you do the Cinderella mission in Far Far Away, finish Humpty Dumpty's first.
Get the hourglass, then get the one there where Cinderella is located. Then, only
use Fiona's slow motion when they get too close to her.

Easy win on final mission:
--------------------------
In the beginning, use Flona's Slow Motion ability to get past the knights.
Then, use Donkey to defeat them.

Prison Lever:
-------------
IN the prison level towards the the end u will find 4 buttons and barred crates
over top of them. Take one of your characters and set them up on the button, then
take another character to the wooden jump thing and jump them on it. The crate will
move, u can do this with multiple characters. Now there is a lever jump with
gingerbread man until u reach the lever. Notice how the crates can move.

Unlimited Health:
-----------------
To get unlimited health in the level "Far Far away" when you help the kind stop
the troll guy from stealing the jewels let the troll K.O everyone but Donkey.
then when you have 1 jewel left to get do not pick it up. get donkey to the
lowest health you can while in there then get the jewel when you come out donkey
should have full health. then go and help Cinderella shop for shoes and pick the
blue and red potions at the same time. finish that part up and make sure the
potions are NOT in effect. then go out and beat the level by doing all the other
side things. then when you are on the next level all of your characters should
have unlimited health (it will show there health gauges go down but they will
not die when it is gone) this is very good fro the fight with the Fairy Godmother.
And that's how u can get unlimited health.... (only donkey can do this in other
words he has to get the potions)

Larry's Lepracaun Shop:
-----------------------
I've found 2 of the 3 shops where you can buy upgrades. 1 is in the Spooky
Forest near the end. The other is in Prison Break near the end where you have
to roll the last ball on to the platform. Roll that ball back down the hill (not
Jack and Jill's hill)but the no name hill. it will rumble and tumble and go
crashing and mashing into the fence and go krackle, snap and pop (im not talking
about the 3 people on the rice krispies). Then you'll find the shop.

Magic Beans/ Lilttle Red:
-------------------------
There are twelve magic beans in each level here are a couple of hints for you:
1. Make sure you look behind everything.
2.Make sure you don't miss anything.
3.Do not give up and in far far away make sure you look everywhere in challenges.
To get little red you have to beat Shrek's Swamp. It is very hard to get to the
forth level because you have to have every snapshot there is including magic beans.

Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg reference:

In Sega Carnival, when you get shot out of the cannon you will turn into a ball.
With Sonic, you will turn into a white ball with blue polka dots. This ball
resembles an egg from the game Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg.

Leveling up:
------------
During a race, once you collect enough rings you will level up. The stream your
character's board leaves will change colors, and his or her attacks will become
more proficient.

Faster boosts and stronger attacks:
-----------------------------------
Depending on what level your attacks are, they will last for a longer time and
have a paralyzing effect. At level 1, you will have a short boost and weak
attacks; and no paralyzing. At level 2, you will have a medium sized boost and
stronger impact on enemies; and short Paralysis. At level 3, you will have the
longest sized boost and a powerful paralyzing attack on your enemies.

Red Canyon: 100 rings:
----------------------
To get 100 rings automatically, when you get to the waterfall at the end of the
stage, look to your left. You will see a ring box that holds 100 rings that will
go into your bank and give you a level 3 Boost and Attack.

Traffic in Metal City:
----------------------
Once you get off the short ramp and reach the fork in between two tunnels, go to
the left. There will be no traffic. If you are going very fast this will be the
best way to get through the tunnel without hitting any cars.

Voice announcer:
----------------
When you play as Shadow, first perform a few tricks. If you listen closely, you
can hear the announcer say "She has made a perfect landing!" or "She landed
perfectly and has taken advantage of the speed boost."

Knuckles: Boosting:
-------------------
When using Knuckles (especially on missions), you can boost often to give yourself
an edge or complete the mission on time. Keep in mind that when you punch through
objects you will gain air. When you get hit by objects you will lose air.

Bonus characters:
-----------------
-Successfully complete the Hero storyline to unlock Shadow The Hedgehog, Rouge
The Bat, and Cream The Rabbit.
-Successfully complete the Babylon storyline to unlock Eggman.
-Complete Storm's, Wave's, and Jet's missions to unlock AiAi, Ulala, and NiGHTS.
-To play as Super Sonic you must get all the Gold Emblems in Mission mode. Then, a
Chaos Emerald will be selectable as one of Sonic's Extreme Gears. Choose it, and
Super Sonic will appear. Super Sonic goes ridiculously fast, and has all three
types (Speed, Power, Flight). However, he has some disadvantages. For example, you
will lose rings rather than air. This means that sharp turns and boosting/attacking
will make you lose rings. Once you have lost all your rings, you will revert back
to normal Sonic. To change back, simply acquire one or more rings.
-Complete 100 races to unlock E-10000G. Alternately, accumulate over twenty hours
of game time.
-Accumulate over fifty hours of game time to unlock E-10000R.

Turbulence:
-----------
To use turbulence effectively, wait for it to appear and ride on it. After you see
arrows on the side, move towards it to gain speed and air. Also, it is an effective
way to get in position to pass and hit an opponent.

Defeating Babylonian God (Genie):
---------------------------------
To defeat this giant, play as Sonic. He has three lives. To catch him, get a good
head start. He is very quick. Do not make a mistake or it will take awhile to catch
up. When you start, you must catch up to him using the turbulence streams and the
grind rails. It helps to make quick work of him. Also, use the ramps and try to make
the most tricks you can, but do not take any unnecessary risks. After you start
getting close to him, use your boost to go through the lamp-like object below him,
and he will let out a cry. Then the stage will look like a digital place for a period
of time. After it returns to normal, repeat the process. After the third strike you
deliver, it will quickly turn into a race. If you are near the finish line, use the
turbulence and your boosts at any costs. When you win you will see an intermission
sequence showing what the legendary treasure really is.

Red Canyon: Shortcut:
---------------------
There is a good shortcut that can only be used by flying characters. When you get
to the first river stream with the waterfall ahead, go past the speed and power
signs. Then there will be a path you can take to go forward or left. Go forward
and turn left to see a booster. Get on it and do not turn left or right. You will
then see three big looking rings (accelerators) and you will be taken to the Ferris
wheel-looking object in a short amount of time.

Use the following method to enable cheat codes in the game.
1)Start the game and create a profile. Do NOT use the "DEFAULT" profile.
Save the game at least once after creating your profile.

2)Open up the .ini file for your profile using Notepad. You can find this
file using the folder structure "Documents and Settings\YOUR USERNAME\
Application Data\Ubisoft\Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory\profiles".
The ini file is named the same as the profile you created in step #1.

Note: The Application Data folder is HIDDEN in Windows by default. To unhide
it, open a windows explorer window, select Tools -> Folder Options. Select
the view tab and in the advanced settings area, in the hidden files and
folders node, select the "Show hidden files and folders".

3)Look for empty keys to bind commands to. These may look like "F1=", "F2=",

The Incredible Machine

I've another cheat to "The Incredible Machine".
-----------------------------------------------
When you are playing in any level you can advance to the next by
pressing the button in the top-right of the screen who allows you
to play/run the level and when the level is running you have to
press Control+V to advance to the next level.
Listed below please find all 160 TIM passwords. That's right, 160.

This list includes the passwords for the puzzles in the new TIM
add-on disk. The first entry is blank - you don't need a password
for the first puzzle of the game. Entry of any password on this
list gives you access to all the puzzles below that level.

For some reason, there are *2* final passwords. Entry of either of
these passwords gives you access to all levels of the game. The
game turns the list of puzzles that you've `done' (or entered the
password for) green. If you enter the final password, all the puzzles
in the list turn green. So, if you do this, you must keep careful
track of the levels that you've completed, or you might miss some.
If you get fed up with this, you can turn all the levels back to
red by deleting the file `TIM.CFG'. This file is updated each time
you quit the game, saving the level that you've got to. If you
delete this file, it's regenerated the next time you quit the game.
When I deleted it from my TIM + Add-on-disk setup, the add-on levels
turned red and the original levels stayed green.

*** CAUTION *** make a backup copy of your game before trying this.
If you delete files from the game, and the whole thing refuses to
run, *and* you haven't first made a backup; don't come crying to me.

These passwords work fine on the UK version of the game. For all I
know, they'll work on all versions of the game worldwide, and also
cover the new commercial version that will be released soon; which
combines original TIM and the add-on disk stuff. However, I'm not
making any guarantees. Congratulations to Jeff Tunnell Productions
and Sierra on a game that has held my attention right to the end.
I've played many, many computer games; and I tire of most before I
complete them. Nice work, guys! Please feel free to distribute this

Taking out key suspects:
------------------------
To disarm key suspects easier without killing them, raise your Detective level
by solving street crimes to unlock the Taser pistol and Tranquilizer rifle
(found in police station's basement armory). These work well for safely capturing
key suspects without killing them accidentally, and is much easier than trying to
get an aim on their arms or legs for a "neutralizing shot".

Fighting styles:
----------------
If you are having trouble completing a fighting mission where you must fight thugs
hand-to-hand, it is best to drive around to different Dojos when not on a mission
to learn different fighting styles. Some styles are better used on some opponents
than others. The best styles are Thai Boxing and Tae Kwon Do. They seem to be
effective on a wider variety of opponents and can defeat more fighting styles than
other ones. Also, do not overlook your default "Brawling" fighting moves as they
can prove very effective against some of the fancier martial arts like Wushu.
Switch between styles while in combat to find the best one for each situation.
If you can score hits with combos of three or more moves on one opponent without
them blocking any of your hits (or stunning them), then your style is better than
theirs. Also, during the "fight club" mini-missions you can sometimes get a hint
as to what styles your opponents are going to use by the little gestures and moves
they make before the beginning of a match.

Faster shotgun reloading:
-------------------------
when using a shotgun, slow reloading can be a big problem. When you start to reload
a shotgun and just stand there, it is very slow. Start running around to reload
almost three times as fast.

Recommended vehicles:
---------------------
The best vehicles to use at Detective Rank 2 is the 5.4L SC V8 coupe; and at
Detective Rank 4 the 6.0L V8 coupe. If you use the 6.0L coupe, make sure to take
it to a garage and get a street upgrade. Also, if you find one of the bullion vans
driving around, hijack one. These will push any car out of the way, and in one hit
you can sometimes put a car on black smoke. If you are stuck on the last driving
arena mission (one lap around Central Park), just keep hitting her car in this
truck to get her stuck for an easy win. The only problem with this vehicle is
cornering. Do not be afraid to use this vehicle like a rhino.

Get cops to stop shooting you:
------------------------------
Sometimes, when you are in your street clothes and shoot at someone in front of
a cop, the cop will start shooting at you. To get them to stop, simply turn
towards them and flash your badge at them. They should then stop shooting at you.

Provoke citizens to fight you:
------------------------------
This is a very good way to clean up all precincts quickly, without getting a Bad
Cop rating. Get in a car and ram into another car that someone is driving.
The driver will get out of their car angry and start provoking you while throwing
a big fit. Get out of your car while they are still throwing a fit and wait until
you see a health bar over their head. You can now beat them down and arrest them
for a quick and easy three Good Cop and three Career points. You can repeat this
until you clean up the area.

Character upgrades:
-------------------
As your rank gets better (5 being the worse, and 1 being best), you can buy better
upgrades for your character at the Police Department Armory, such as better zoom
for your guns, or a more slow-mo dive. You can also purchase new guns to use.
The guns will be in the trunk of your police car that you get from the garage.

Easy money:
-----------
Go into a store, extort them, then come out. Walk back in and repeat as many
times as desired to get
more money.

Easy ranks:
----------
If you do not mind earning Bad Cop points, use the following trick to rank up
detective levels easily. Go to a place where there are lots of people, such as
Central Park. Frisk as many people as you can, plant evidence, and arrest them.
You will get one Bad Cop point if you arrest them correctly. Also, ou will get
three career points every time you do so. It should only take about a half hour
at the most to rank up a level.

Reload stun gun:
----------------
Commandeer any police cruiser, open the trunk, and you can then reload your stun
gun. This can be done repeatedly whenever the gun is low or empty.

Grand Theft Auto reference:
---------------------------
When you get the option to start driving taxi missions, Marcus comments that he
cannot believe it and says "Next thing, I'll be flying remote control toys and
shit." This is obviously a reference to all the RC car/plane/helicopter levels
in the Grand Theft Auto series of games.

Neutralizing criminals:
-----------------------
To neutralize a criminal person that is running, take out your stun gun and use it
until his or her health is gone. You can then arrest him or her.'

Reloading:
----------
There are two ways to reload your ammunition. The first is by accessing the trunk
of any car that you own. This also gives you access to your personal armory. The
other way is to get a police car then access its truck. Using the police car will
refill all your weapons but will not give you access to your personal armory.

Lower Rogue meter:
------------------
To allow your rogue meter to cool down, just enter any subway station. Cops will not
follow you down and you will be safe.

Kill without filling the Rouge meter:
-------------------------------------
Kill a group of people to fill your Rogue meter. Once the cops come after you, let them
kill you. After you are put you on street patrol, leave the station. Enable the "Super
Cop" code, and you can now kill as much as you desired without your Rogue meter filing.

No motorcycle wrecks:
---------------------
Pop a wheelie and do not stop. Cars will not make you fall off or slow down much.

Keep car door open after you jump out:
--------------------------------------
When you jump out you will find that your door is stuck. To keep it open, get in on
the passenger side.

Redman Gone Wild mini-game: More time:
--------------------------------------
An easy way to get more time is to kill people. It is impossible to complete it by just
driving. You must get out and shoot them.

Getting criminals to surrender:
-------------------------------
Enemies are more likely to surrender if you fire a warning shot from a gun larger than
theirs. You can then proceed to arrest them without starting a gunfight.
Note: This does not always work.

Sour Candy mission: Easy completion:
------------------------------------
In the Palermo mission "Sour Candy", follow Candy up the climbing wall to the track. Instead
of starting the race, go in the opposite direction. For the first two sets of hurdles, break
the ones in the center lane by running into them. Then, break the last two sets of hurdles
on the inside lane of the track. This will allow you to run in the race and not have to jump.
Candy will be forced to jump over the hurdles slowing her down, so you can catch her more
easily.

Grand Theft Auto reference:

Twisted Metal 2 saves your games in the Windows95 system registry so in order for
you to edit your games you will need to go to the Start button on your task bar,
click it then go to Run and click that. Then type in regedit. This will start
the system registry editor.
The first thing you should do is to go to the Registry menu at the top and export
the registry file to a safe location, another hard drive or floppy disk, just in
case you mess something up. This is a good idea to do on a regular basis in case
your registry becomes corrupt which does happen from time to time. If you need
to restore your registry you can start Windows in safe mode, run regedit and
import the registry file from wherever you saved it.

To edit the saved games click the + sign beside HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Then click
the + sign beside SOFTWARE. Next scroll down to the + beside SONY INTERACTIVE
and click it. Then click the + beside Twisted Metal 2. This should leave you
with a folder that is labeled 1.0.1 ( it may be different on your machine if
you downloaded and applied the patch from Sony ). Clicking on the folder opens
up all the information about TM2 in the right hand window. Down towards the
bottom you should see Slot1-Slot6 depending on how many games you have saved,
note you MUST have a game saved in order to edit it.
Choose the slot that you want to edit, the slots are in the same order as they
appear in the save game/load game screens when TM2 is running. Click the slot
to highlight it then go to the top of the editor and click Edit, Modify. This
should give you a window that looks like this. screen shot 2 Scroll to the bottom
of this window to get to the items that you wish to edit. The things that I have
figured out so far are the level you are on, the car you are driving . To edit
the car you are click on the numer and/or letter just to the right of the number
that says 0080.

To edit this value, hit the DELETE key and type in the new value. Valid numbers
are 00-0E, just so you know these values are in hexadecimal 10 comes AFTER 0F,
which comes after 0E, and is not included in the valid range. The corresponding
car values are:

To save all of your changes just simply hit the OK button then exit out of regedit.
For those of you who don't know Minion is the Boss from Twisted Metal 1 which was
only available on the Sony Playstation. Darktooth is the Boss that you have to
fight after you defeat all your opponents in the Hong Kong level, you fight him
also there. A hint on howto defeat him, learn to fire the freeze blast.
Also it is not advisable to play as Darktooth as he is so large the only way you
can see where you are going is to switch to the helicopter view which, at least
on my machine, sometimes washes the screen out with a grey color that doesn't go
away. Minion is by far the BADDEST car to drive as he can easily destroy any other
car.

Every Code can only be taken once per Game.
To enter the Codes just open the console (us ~ and german ^) and enter
the following codes. After you entered the Codes, the item will fall
to your feet.
Remember to enter the Cheat EXACTLY as given WITH "BonusCode" and
a space infront of the code.

Increasing Stats:
-----------------
If you manage to get your Alchemy skill to level ten, you will be able
to create every powerful potions that will increase various statistics,
such as in Vitality, Strength, or Dexterity. Brew one of these potions,
and then to increase its statistical boosts, simply brew it again. With
the exception of potions involving damage boosters, you can do this to
any potion over and over again to increase its potency.

Creating permanent potions:
---------------------------
Creating this type of potion depends on your Alchemy skill. However if you
do not have any skill in Alchemy, take the item that increases the attribute
(willpower, strength, fire protection, etc.) and combine it with a potion
(mana or health only). For example, if you take an item that increases your
strength by 10 and combine it with a potion that heals 250 points, you will
typically get a potion that gives you a +1 (or +2) to strength and heals
about 150 points. If you take two of the item that increases your attribute
by 10 plus a health/mana potion, you get a better result (about +6 in the
attribute). Your alchemy skill will increase this, but with other skills
that may be more useful (stone skin, or magic), this is generally what you
will get.

Unlimited Undead ingredients:
-----------------------------
when you visit a graveyard you can find glowing roots called Taint. Collect
these and wait until it is close to nightfall. Then, start dropping them on
the floor. Back up slightly and wait. As soon as nightfall hits the Taint
will spawn Undead Ghouls, Zombies, etc. The number of Taints you have will
determine the number of undead that will spawn. Kill them and collect your
ingredients. If you kill at least ten Ghouls and collect their brains with
alchemy maxed, it is possible to increase your willpower by 18 with 10
Ghouls Brains every night.

Easy Cash (Thief):
------------------
For some easy cash early in the game, pick thief as your class. Get into the
first town, called Kormorin, and get your thief's lockpicking skill up a
couple of levels. Start breaking into houses and take stuff from the two
houses closest to the teleporter. Then, just sell the items to the trader
nearby.

High Level Plundering:
----------------------
Once around level 20 or so, head to Ashos. When you arrive there, you should
accept the quest to help a woman's sister who is in trouble. After you get
the Key to the Temple by completing a few other minor tasks, head into the
temple itself. You will need to kill off snake enemies within that are
pretty tough, but otherwise you'll want to make your way towards the main
chamber and steal the treasure sitting there on the podium.
Stealing this treasure will cause the city to lose its protection from Orcs.
When you get out the Orcs will have killed everyone and you can loot the entire
town. Combined, you should find plenty of swords (including powerful Katanas),
and around 75,000 gold.

Vitality Boost:
---------------
Here's a quick way to raise your vitality. Near the Western Thalmont Node (which
is the second place you meet Kira), you can find a location called Ram's Cave.
Inside the cave you can find ten Thuloks, four Demons, and six or more treasure
chests. The chests have some loot for you to grab, but the real interest is in
the ten Headless Hearts from the Thuloks you kill, which will net you 74 vitality
each (if your alchemy is at level ten or higher).

Maximize Looting:
-----------------
Once you've completed the quest to obtain the three Teleport Stones, you can
work out a system where your inventory will never be full enough that you will
miss out on valuable loot. Simple leave one of the three stones in Tharbakin.
Then, whenever your inventory gets full, throw down a second stone and teleport
back to Tharbakin, heading to a nearby merchant, where you can sell your loot
and teleport back to your previous location thereafter. No more lost loot due
to a full inventory!

Enter Locked Towns & Villages:
------------------------------
Many villages and towns in the game are locked, and you must earn reputation to get
into each. However, by jumping, there are ways to enter the following three
settlements without the necessary reputation.

Karga Clan Camp - Jump on the rock to the right of the entrance gate. Then, jump on
the wooden fence nearby. From here, simply jump behind the gate. To get out, try going
to the inside right of the gate behind a stone pillar. Position your character between
the pillar and the wooden fence. Then repeatedly jump until you get on top of the fence
and jump over.

Gorrelin - Jump on one of the wooden carts near the gate, and then jump on the wooden
fence in order to jump over. To get back out, go to the right of the inside of the gate
and jump on an angled cart leaning on the fence. Jump on the handle poles, and then
jump over the fence.

Karga Clan Treasury - Before attempting this last one, be warned that you must be able
to teleport here or you will get stuck! Jump on the giant rock between the two houses
opposite Ultar's house, and then jump behind the rock and get behind the house on the
left. On the side of the cliff, there should be a crevice you can jump into. Keep
jumping up in the crevice until you reach the top of the cave (where the treasury
is located). Go over to the edge until you see the red icon representing a locked gate.
Carefully slide down where you see the icon until you fall. You should land inside the
treasury and be able get the relic. To get out use the Teleport Stone right next to
the gate.

Duplicate Items:
----------------
Ok, for this to work you will need 2 computers, Or 2 people.
In town give one character the items you want to duplicate. He or she has to log out
while the other makes a game (do not enter the game 'till the other person logs back on).
Once the other person logs back in the person will need to enter the game (start the
game once he or she joins). In the game the person that has the items they want to
dupe gives it to the other person. Once you're finished trading the person with the
items leaves the game for he or she don't crash. The person that had the items will
need to do (Alt+Ctrl+Delete) and close the game like that. Once the person that closed
the game logs back on they will see they still have all the items they had before the
trade.
